August is the month when teams return to the basketball court. The cadet and youth teams started training, the boys were eagerly waiting to return to the floor. On Monday, August 16, 2021, all junior selections as well as the member team started training. Samo Miška left the position of coach of the member team, whom we thank for his contribution to laying the new foundations of the basketball school and the development of young coaches, and we wish him all the best in his future career. The new coach of the member team became Denis Nusdorfer, the current assistant coach and professional manager of the club. Urban Hrovat, Nemanja Ščekić and Aleksa Kojadinović have left the club, and we wish everyone good luck in their future life and sports. David Vac has temporarily suspended his sports career. Luka Krmac, Andraž Rogelja, Aleks Cvetičanin, Deni Hodžić, Tim Škerbec, Marko Jovanović, Peter Tumpić Bordon, Jan Vogrin and Jurij Pišot remain in the member team. After the injury, Alen Katonar also returned, and next to him are the returnees from Postojna Enej Miklavčić, who will take care of the physical preparation of the younger selections, the experienced Adin Kavgič from Italy, and the sniper Luka Cvetičanin is also returning under the basket. In addition to the result goal of ranking in the first half of the 2nd SKL scale, we set the primary goal of establishing young players in the member team, so we will also include promising youngsters in the team. In addition to the member team, we also strengthened the professional staff in the junior selections, the youth and cadet selection is led by Bojan Đorđevič, the U15 selection was taken over by Martin Kožuh, who also takes care of the physical preparation of the member team. Marko Pejčič continues to lead the U13 and U11 national teams and the basketball school.
