CAMERA SYSTEM INSTALLED IN ŠD LUCIJA
Last year, KZS signed a contract with the company Genius Sports, which will equip all halls of Slovenian second league teams with an advanced audio / video system for automatic transmission of basketball matches. The halls in which the matches of the Slovenian first league women are played will also be equipped.
Thus, it will be possible to follow the matches of the 1st ŽSKL and 2nd SKL for men “live” online, on the club’s online platforms. The audio / video system was supplied by the renowned Israeli manufacturer Pixellot, the system consists of three video cameras, two cameras cover events in the field, and the third is intended for recording traffic lights.
Of the second league halls, the first installation was performed in the Lucija Sports Hall, the installation was performed by the company VPK. The picture shows the cameras in ŠD Lucija, the central one has two cameras to show the game, on the left is a smaller camera that records the semaphore. During the online broadcasts, the spectators will, in addition to the events on the pitch, also see the current result and the time of the game.
The software is controlled by “artificial intelligence” so that the cameras “follow” the actions on the playground.
In addition, additional software tools will be available to club professionals to analyze matches.
The plans of KZS also include the connection of software for keeping statistics with video and in the future also the introduction of digital game record that will replace the classic paper game record.
The plan also envisages linking these systems to the club and player licensing system in the coming years.

We hope that we will be able to use the system on March 20, 2021 in the first home game after the suspension of the championship: KK Portorož-KK Medvode. We will inform you about this in a timely manner on our website and on social media channels.
