Portorož's first five (Kos, Bolčič, Oset, Bajt and Stanovnik) reached a quick lead of 0:5, in the 7th minute it was already 6:17, then after 5 points of the hosts followed a series of 0:10 and at the end of 1/4 a high lead of 13:32.
By the end of the game, Portorož had made another mini-series and finished the first part of the game with +24 (30:54).
In the second half, all Portorož players got a chance, after three thirds it was +30 (44:74), the final score was +54 (54:108).

SCORERS FOR PORTOROŽ:

After two opening away defeats (a heavy defeat against Vrhnika and an unfortunate defeat against Litija)
the Mariners finally came to their first victory.
In a tense match, which was decided in the playoffs, they were better than Hidria in the nicely filled hall of the Lucija Sports Club.
With the win, they jumped from last place in the standings to 8th place.
